Data Scientist

Position Summary

A Data Scientist designs, develops and implements practical and scalable analytic solutions. They apply their skills as a core part of the analytics domain team, lead by the Principal Engineer (Analytics), to deliver roadmap projects and features.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Identify opportunities for insight generation based on intelliHR data models
• Identify additional data to capture that may provide additional opportunities for insights analysis
• The production of advanced machine learning models that analyse human data captured by the intelliHR platform
• The creation, maintenance and optimisation of experiments
• Verify and validate data insights and ML models with state of art data science practices and statistical methods

Secondary responsibilities may include:

• Maintain and improve ongoing data pipeline and automation processes

• Evangelical passion for deriving insights from large and opaque data for real human use
• Deep and rich understanding of the product domain and expertise area, especially as it relates to the company goals
• Contribute in technical discussions to ensure decisions being made adhere to the established vision
• Constantly learn new engineering practices and tools
• Engage with wider technical communities related to the expertise area

Technical Capabilities

Development:

• Proficient in creating/running data experiments in Python or other popular data processing languages
• Competent knowledge of REST API practices and use cases
• Competent knowledge of modern web application infrastructure

Architecture:

• Competent with modern data experimental tools such as Google Colab and Jupyter notebooks
