Position Summary
A managerial role, the Head of Engineering should be highly skilled in leadership. Heads of Engineering should be able to demonstrate highly developed management skills, and have broad knowledge of software development, IT, and the product development lifecycle.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing department budgets and resources
- Building and managing relationships with clients, vendors, and business units
- Project scoping, planning, and management
- Talent recruitment and mentoring
Secondary responsibilities may include:
- Developing proof of concept work

- Contribute in technical discussions to ensure decisions being made adhere to the established vision
- Constantly learn new engineering practices and tools
