Junior Iteration Manager

An Iteration Manager with software engineering skills who is able to lead a team to consistently deliver quality solutions.

Position Summary

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Organise, facilitate and document Agile ceremonies
• Maintain team metrics for accurate reporting to stakeholders
• Remove impediments blocking teams’ development progress
• Negotiate priorities and scope of epics/projects
• Managing teams’ issue development cycle

Secondary responsibilities may include:

• Communicate with stakeholders and customers on behalf of the team
• Contribute to technical solution design sessions
• Attending professional events such as conferences to learn industry best practices and new technologies

Expected Behaviours

• Foster engagement from team members in agile ceremonies and technical discussions
• Be involved in technical discussions to ensure the decisions made adhered to the established technical vision
• Develop your knowledge with training courses and learning materials

Technical Capabilities

Development:

• Able to triage bugs and prioritise product feedback
• Basic understanding of how services are built and their health is maintained
• Able to participate in team development tasks where duties allow

Architecture:

• Have an understanding of how different services fit into the overall system
