In the Engineering department we make use of many applications, both internally within the department, and with the company in general. Below lists the applications used and what they are intended to be used for.

1Password
1Password is a password manager. We use 1Password For Teams, giving use access to Vaults that can be managed and shared with individuals as needed. Each team member also has access to a Private vault that they can use to store their own personal login information.
AWS
All of the *.intellihr.net and *.intellihr.io applications are hosted on AWS.
Bonusly
Bonusly is a recognition tool that is integrated into Slack. It allows team members to recognise and reward other team members for the help and support they provide.
ConfigCat
ConfigCat manages feature flags across multiple environments. It is used to slowly roll out new features during beta testing and to hide features in development.
Discord
Discord is a place to talk. It is used by teams to enable continuous communication.
Favro (deprecated)
Favro is am agile planning and collaboration tool. It was used as an issue tracking and management solution.
Figma
Figma is an online application for creating UI designs and mockups.
Google Workspace (previously G-Suite)
Google Workspace is a business orientated set of services for E-mail, office applications and meetings.
GitHub
GitHub is used to host a number of our Git repositories. Repositories are in the process of being migrated to GitLab.
GitLab
GitLab is a complete DevOps platform used for Git repository hosting and issue management.
Grafana
Grafana is used as a dashboard for a data and metrics collected from our Kubernetes cluster and running docker containers as well as miscellaneous application metrics.
Jenkins
Jenkins is an automation server that is used to build the intelliHR application. It coordinates the build pipelines for all parts of the application and deploys them to AWS/Kubernetes.
Miro (previously RealTimeBoard)
Miro is an online whiteboard to ease collaboration on team projects and planning sessions.
Notion
Notion is a note taking and documentation application. It is used to store technical documentation.
Pingdom
Pingdom is a website monitoring tool used to check the website from an external location.
Slack
Slack in a communications used to chat with other members over the company.
StyleCI
StyleCI is a hosted coding style fixer for PHP, JS and CSS. It performs code formatting checks on newly written code to ensure our coding standards are maintained.
Quay.io
Quay is a container registry that stores and analyses any docker containers built as part of the application pipelines.
Xero
Xero is our payroll platform.
YouTube
YouTube is a video sharing platform. We post recordings of company meetings on there for team members that were unable to attend the meeting at the time.
Zapier
Zapier is an automation application allowing disconnected applications to integrate with each other.
